New Joiners

Limerick Swimming Club is a competitive swimming club. There are 3 squads . Kids start at the Development squad - C squad. They can progress from there to the B squad and then the A squad, this depends on the swimmers ability, development and commitment to training. Kids start at 9yrs - 12yrs age span but they must have completed swimming lessons successfully and be able to swim 25m in all 4 strokes. They also must be prepared to swim as per the timetable given on the website www.limswim.ie. For the C squad this is four 1hour session per week.

They attend gala's approximately once per month in the Munster region.

Those that have not completed lessons can avail of lessons local swimming clubs, prior to considering a competitive swimming club.
